Master of Public Health

Allison pursued her MPH degree with the audacious goal of bettering the health of entire populations. She believes that healthcare providers can achieve big change by identifying the unique micro-steps and sequencing relevant to their community and organization. With more than 20 years of healthcare consulting experience, she enjoys helping clients understand their community’s current needs, look ahead to forecast future ones, identify the paramount facts amid the noise of data overload, and communicate a compelling story for change and innovation.

Allison began her career at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, with roles in both operations and planning. Recognizing that she wanted to focus on strategy for her professional path, she transitioned to consulting and is privileged to have worked with a diverse portfolio of hospitals, health systems, medical groups, and medical schools since 2005. Taking her strategy expertise and passion for change in new directions, Allison served as a board member for the Virginia League of Planned Parenthood from 2012-2023, including three years as Board Chair.

In her free time, Allison enjoys cooking, crossword puzzles, British mysteries, and traveling with her family.

“Whatever you choose to do, leave tracks. That means don’t do it just for yourself. You will want to leave the world a little better for your having lived.”
