Greg began his career in public accounting and transitioned to healthcare in 2010. He has held roles in healthcare finance, operations, and consulting. He holds both a CPA license and an MBA and has taught more than 25 undergraduate or graduate courses in business strategy and accounting.
Since joining Ascendient in 2021, Greg has managed numerous types of engagements, overseen the financial components of most projects, and contributed frequently to the firm's thought leadership. His primary focus is on CON applications and litigation along with strategy projects relating to rural health.
Greg relishes the challenge of working with health systems that are capital intensive; highly regulated; dependent on highly educated, high-cost employees; have complex reimbursement structures; and require processes to care for a wide variety of diagnoses. He enjoys knowing that there is always something new to learn – and most importantly, that his work touches the lives of countless patients.
When he is not working, Greg enjoys traveling, reading, golfing, and spending time with his family.
