Born in Wichita, Kansas, Miranda earned two health-related Bachelor's degrees from Wichita State before completing her MPH at Baylor. She has worked for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment as a supervisor within their Covid-19 case investigation department and interned within the violence prevention and substance use division at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

A consultant with Ascendient since 2023, Miranda utilizes her background in health education and administration to assist health systems navigating the complexities of CON and CHNA filings. Using a combination of data and narrative, she builds a detailed case for new facilities or expanded services to better match the needs of community members. She loves telling the stories of patients, providers, and healthcare systems seeking to improve their communities each day.

Outside of work, Miranda enjoys reading, cooking, and learning about Anglo Saxon archeology.
